How it works

The test has twelve multiple-choice questions, ordered from level A1 to level B2 of the European framework. You answer in about five minutes, without creating an account, and your score appears as soon as you submit. The questions are in Spanish, as you would expect.

Alberto receives your answers question by question. He writes to you within 24 hours with your estimated level, what to work on and a plan for what comes next.

What the test measures

It is a written test of grammar and vocabulary. It gives you an honest estimate of your level, not a certificate, and it does not measure speaking. Speaking is what the free 30-minute trial lesson is for: Alberto assesses you out loud and sets a first goal with you.

If you do not know an answer, choose “No lo sé”. That is better than guessing, and your estimate will be more accurate.

What happens to my data?

Alberto receives your first name, your email, your WhatsApp number if you give it, your goal and your answers, only to write to you about your result. You can ask for them to be deleted at [email protected].

How is it different from the trial lesson?

The test is written and automatic. The 30-minute trial lesson is a conversation with Alberto, who assesses your speaking level and sets a first goal with you.
